Even though I have just reformatted my PC, Why does my PC crash & shuts down everytime i insert any disc in the CD/DVD Rom Drive?

The other day, randomly, my PC crashed and took me to the blue crash dump screen. every time i restart it it just goes back to it before getting to the log-on screen. it suggests inserting the windows installation disk but i cannot find this. it also suggests uninstalling new software but i can not even get onto anything. it just boots then gives me the blue error screen. i have tried it in safe mode and last known configuration that worked. My PC is a Windows Vista 32-bit OS what do i do? thanks.

My computer has been running really slowly lately and thought it was a registry error so I installed Free Window Registry Repair 2.0, and it found 3076 errors! Some of them are Non-Existent files or folds, and most of them are Empty Registry Keys. Can I fix them? What do I do?

I ran a Registry Repair on my computer awhile back thinking it can be useful as a scan disc or defragmentation. i figured it could only help keeping my computer clean. Well what it did is it deleted something that tells windows to run and now my tower does not work anymore. Windows wont load. I took it in to be repaired and they said they cant fix it without the original disc to re-install whatever it is to make windows work again. They told me i need to trash the tower and get another one. Seems to me that he just wanted me sell give him the tower. What can i do short of getting a new computer. i know there has to be a way to get it up and going again.

All day every day I get pop-up messages that tell me it has found critical system errors and that if I don’t repair them then my computer might…(everything bad). when I visit the website on the message it wants me to buy a clean-up program. Do I need this?

It started happening about two months ago…a little after it started I had a system crash due to power outage and had to reboot from original shipped files… it still popped up… I have tried system restore a few times but hasn’t worked.
I am connected to the internet at start-up(roadrunner)…but it does pop up even when not using internet

Any recommendations?????????
