144 MB of VRAM

So about December I replaced my old 250 GB Hard drive for a 300 GB drive and everything was fine with the back-up. About 2 months later I installed Windows XP via Bootcamp. 3 weeks ago I wanted to remove the partition and I needed to send my macbook in for repairs but the problem is when ever I backed the had drive up when I boot off the back-up, every application quits unexpectedly even the crash reporter. I have backed up several times. Eventually I removed the Bootcamp partition without backing up. Even then I had the same problem. I’ve tried formatting the external drive to Mac OSX Extended (Journaled) and even with a GUID Partition Tabe and it still didn’t work.Also when I try to repair disk permissionsit says that a bunch of files are lrw-r–r– and sould be -rw-r–r– or are lrw-rw-r– and souls be -rw-rw-r– and warnings about a few SUID files being modified and could not be repaired.
